Here’s an example of the logic of the world’s two largest religions. It pits one against the other. Sure, it’s hyperbolic (it’s meant to be comedy, after all) but what makes it funny is the truth underlying it: the illogic of exclusive belief (i.e. belief that one’s own faith is correct while all others are, by definition, untrue).
Granted, this video is now over 20 years old (it’s from The Daily Show and aired in 2003). But it’s pithy, and it works!
What have we learned from this? That’s for you to decide. Hopefully, you’ve gotten the point.
